Distribution Center Volunteer Program: Volunteers donate their time to a broad variety of tasks, from food sorting to BackPack bag packing--all vital components of our operations. Your volunteers can pack bags of produce for the Farm2Kids program, pack weekend meals for school children, or sort donated goods for safe distribution. Create excitement the week before your project by organizing a Fund Drive.

Community Food Distributions: 25 times each month FASD delivers food to neighborhoods that have a high incidence of poverty but relatively low levels of emergency food assistance. Rising costs for food and fuel, coupled with the declining economy, have made this program more and more crucial to our local communities. Organizations can sponsor a Community Food Distribution and help by providing nutritious food to those in need while giving employees an outstanding opportunity to lend a hand to their fellow San Diegans.
