Feeding America San Diego's Nutrition Initiatives
Feeding America San Diego has launched three initiatives – Children’s Nutrition Initiative, Senior Nutrition Initiative and the Healthy Food Initiative. These initiatives are currently comprised of ten programs: Community Food Distribution, Fresh Produce Program, Farm2Kids Program, BackPack Program, Fresh Rescue, Reclamation Project, Summer Food Service Program,Volunteer Program, Plant a Row/Gleaning Project, and Advocacy and Education.
Children's Nutrition Initiative
FASD provides food to over 6000 children every month through our child hunger programs.
