Community Food Distributions
Feeding America San Diego delivers a truckload of food to neighborhoods that have a high incidence of poverty, yet relatively low levels of emergency food assistance. With the rising cost of food and fuel, coupled with the declining economy, this program is becoming increasingly important. In the last few months, the number of neighborhood food distributions has increased over 600 %.
In addition to daytime distributions, Feeding America San Diego tailors its efforts to reach working people by distributing food in the evenings as well as on weekends. Please click on the Host Sites tab to find a Community Food Distribution near you.
Feeding America San Diego is now accepting applications for the next fiscal year! Existing agencies need to reapply and new agencies can apply to become part of the Community Food Distribution Program. Please complete the application and agreement below.
